I am very pleased to announce that WordCamp Vancouver 2010 will be taking place at the Museum of Vancouver in Kitsilano.
On June 12th we’ll be hanging out in two galleries and one classroom located inside the Museum’s building (shared with the HR MacMillan Space Centre aka the Planetarium). Surrounded by artwork and pieces of Vancouver’s past our keynote screens and laptops will be full of new and shared information.
With unparalleled views of Vancouver, Vanier Park, the Burrard Inlet, and the North Shore mountains it’s the perfect setting to inspire discussions and conversations about everyone’s favourite publishing platform.
A big thank you to the Museum of Vancouver for allowing us to use their space and we hope you’ll join us this summer for WordCamp Vancouver. If you’d like to attend, please head on over and purchase a ticket to the event. We expect tickets to sell quickly, so grab yours as soon as you can.

Rad. It’s a great space!
Rad x 2.
Awesome! Where can I find details: dates, times, costs, etc?
We’ll be open up ticket sales shortly. The event will take place on June 12th at roughly 8am until 4pm or so.

This is close to home but unfortunately we’ll be in Europe during WP Camp Vancouver. Next year or so, please keep Vancouver as a location for the Lower Mainland…easier to attract the broadest set of conference attendees, attracting exhibitors/sponsors and for things to do in city as shoulder activities.
