We’ve been working hard to try and put a social event together for everyone. Thankfully we’ve finally managed to get all our ducks in a row, so I want to announce what the plans are.
There will be a social event at the Granville Island Brewery Taproom running between 6pm and 9pm in the evening of June 12th. The conference will end around 4pm, which will give everyone a bit of time to grab a bite to eat on their own somewhere, and then head on over to the social.
Because space is limited, only those people that have valid tickets to WordCamp Vancouver will be able to attend. We’ll be giving everyone a drink ticket or two (depending on the final budget), and will also be selling additional tickets during the event. There will be plenty of beers on tap as well as some wine, so it should be a great chance for everyone to hang out, mingle with each other, talk about the conference, and most importantly, have a bit of fun.
We’re really looking forward to it, and we’ll see you all there!
